How it works

Sell Us Your Cards terms
  1. Who can sell. You must be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian's permission), have a Wenzel TCG customer account, and own the cards you submit. We accept cards from anywhere. They don't have to be bought from Wenzel TCG.
  2. Minimum value. We only buy cards with a market value over $2.50 in their actual condition. Cards at or under $2.50 can't be added and won't be paid for.
  3. Quotes are estimates. Prices shown on this page are estimates based on public market data and are not an offer. Your final quote comes only after we inspect the card in hand, and it may be higher or lower than the estimate.
  4. Condition and grading. We decide the condition of every card (Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played) using standard TCG condition guidelines. We only buy cards in Near Mint, Lightly Played, or Moderately Played condition. Heavily played or damaged cards will be returned or declined at the seller's cost. Our decision is final for the quote. Graded (slabbed) cards are quoted case by case.
  5. Payout rates and method. We pay 70% of market value in cash, by PayPal or wire transfer, or 80% of market value as Wenzel TCG store credit. We only pay out by PayPal, wire transfer, or store credit. No checks or other methods. For PayPal, you must give a valid PayPal email in your own name. We aren't responsible for payments sent to a wrong email or account you provided.
  6. Wire transfers. Wires are sent Monday–Friday only (not weekends or bank holidays). Please allow 1–3 business days for a wire to arrive. Wire fee: $18.00, deducted from your wire payout. The account must be in your name. You give your bank and account details on the form; double-check them, because we aren't responsible for wires sent to details you entered incorrectly.
  7. PayPal business accounts. If your PayPal is a business account, we pay only by PayPal Goods & Services, and a 2.99% fee is deducted from your payout (for example, a $100.00 quote pays $97.01, before any label cost). Tell us on the form. If we find out the account is a business account, we may apply the fee.
  8. Payout timing. We send payment within [3 business days] after we receive and verify your card(s) and you accept the final quote. Store credit is added to your account in the same timeframe.
  9. Shipping your cards. All cards are mailed in with the prepaid USPS shipping label we send you, except cards pulled on a Wenzel TCG stream that we already hold. Use the label only for the cards on that request. Packages lost or damaged in transit are your responsibility, even when shipped on our prepaid label. Wenzel TCG isn't liable for your cards until we receive the package. Pack your cards securely (penny sleeve, top loader, cardboard, and a bubble mailer or box).
  10. Prepaid labels. Every request with cards to mail in gets a prepaid USPS shipping label from us, addressed to our PO box. You'll find it under My submissions on the Sell us your cards page (download the label and the tracking link). The label cost is deducted from your payout, whether you are paid in cash (PayPal or wire) or store credit. We use USPS only. If the card(s) are rejected or the request is cancelled after the label was bought, the label cost is still owed [deducted from any payout / billed]. [Confirm.] If you won't use the label, tell us before you ship and we'll void it; a voided, unused label isn't deducted. You can choose Standard shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) or Overnight (USPS Priority Mail Express, usually 1–2 days). Overnight labels cost more; the cost of the label we buy is deducted from your payout either way.
  11. Cards pulled on a Wenzel TCG stream: final. If you mark a card as pulled on a Wenzel TCG stream, it stays with us (no shipping), and submitting it for buyback review is final and cannot be undone. You can't cancel or withdraw it, and the card isn't returned or shipped to you after you submit. [Confirm what happens if the buyer disagrees with the quote for a stream card.]
  12. Offer expiry. A final quote is valid for [7 days]. If you don't accept it in that time, it expires and we may re-quote at current market prices.
  13. Cancelling and rejected cards. For mailed-in cards, you can cancel a request before you accept the quote. If you decline the quote, or we reject a card, we return mailed-in cards [at your cost / free] within [7 business days]. Cards not claimed within [60 days] after we contact you may be treated as abandoned. [Confirm.] This doesn't apply to stream cards (see 10).
  14. Fraud and counterfeits. We don't buy counterfeit, altered, trimmed, or stolen cards. Suspected counterfeit or stolen items may be kept and reported to the authorities and are not returned or paid for. Fraud (for example misrepresenting condition, ownership, or account type, or chargebacks) can lead to account closure and cancelled payouts.
  15. Right to refuse. We may refuse any card or any request for any reason, including market changes, stock levels, or suspected abuse.
  16. Rate and terms changes. We may change these terms, payout rates, fees, or the minimum at any time. The terms and rates shown when you submit a request apply to that request, unless the quote has expired.
  17. Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on money you receive. [Confirm whether reporting thresholds apply.]
